Ron Garmo is a licensed and insured mechanical contractor. He is also a general contractor, having worked on several projects. After working several years in the HVAC industry for a couple of different Michigan-based companies, starting in the late 90s, Ron launched Running Right Heating & Cooling in January of 2004.
Prior to entering this service industry, Ron worked in landscaping for his brother’s company Outdoor Accents. He also owned a convenience store in Pontiac for six years. He grew up in the food retail business working for his father starting at the age of 12. He attended Northwest Tech where he was trained in heating and cooling. He is self-motivated and spent most of his childhood learning how to fix things around his house including bicycles, go-karts, and lawn mowers.
Andrew serves as the Controller for Running Right Heating, Cooling & More, bringing more than 30 years of sales and management experience to the company. Since joining Running Right in 2013, he has overseen all aspects of daily operations, including administration, collections, customer service, scheduling, HR compliance, and strategic planning. His leadership and operational insight have played a key role in supporting the company’s continued growth and profitability.
Outside the office, Andrew enjoys to play golf, fish and travel.
Gary Shelley is the residential manager/comfort specialist for Running Right Heating & Cooling. He started in the HVAC industry in 1975. He earned his HVAC certificate from Henry Ford Community College. After 10 years working in the industry, Gary started his own business in 1985. He employed up to 35 people and sold his business in 2017 and started his position with Running Right in February of that year. His son Matthew and grandson Connor are residential installers for Running Right. His favorite thing to do when he is not working is traveling with his grandchildren.
